Day Treatment
Youth at this level of care reside in their own home, foster home, or other agency if it is within commuting distance of York, NE. Youth may be either male or female. These youth receive a minimum of three to six hours of structured, therapeutic treatment per day comprised of individual, family and group therapies, social skills and life skills activities. Day Treatment youth have an individualized treatment plan through which their particular treatment needs are addressed.
Educational needs are met for a portion of the day by the Epworth Village Learning Center with the opportunity to mainstream into their home school a class period or more, as they are academically or behaviorally able to do so.
The average length of time a youth is at this level of care is three to four months.
