The “Great Paper Challenge”

To meet the paper product needs of Epworth Village, Inc. for one month we need:

  • 200 boxes of Kleenex
  • 360 rolls of paper towels
  • 400 rolls of toilet paper
  • 8,500 napkins

To run our agency and school we also need white copy paper and lined notebook paper (no spiral notebooks).

Therapy Department

Ten Masters Level therapists are employed by the agency. Monies collected for the Therapy Department may go towards:

Supplies for "Play Therapy", Library resources for therapeutic techniques, bringing in presentations to enhance therapeutic skills in the areas of Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies, Expansion projects to provide adequate space to conduct therapeutic services to children and families

Epworth Village Learning Center

Approximately 25 teachers, para-professionals and support staff serve students at our school. Monies collected for the Education Department may go towards:

New textbooks for students, broader curriculum resources to be used by teachers, art materials, computer technology that will allow students to utilize interactive learning tools and physical education equipment

Residential Facilities

Our Residential Managers and Residential Therapeutic Specialists are dedicated to giving children tools to use to live better lives. Monies collected for our seven, residential facilities may go towards:

Kitchen utensils, art equipment needs, curriculum materials for Life Skills classes, cottage health equipment needs, cottage sports equipment needs or purchasing new appliances such as washers/dryers/stoves

In-Home Safety Services and Foster Care

In-Home Safety Services employees and Foster Parents need support as well. IHSS staff travel all over Nebraska meeting families in need within the home setting. Foster Parents help give families a chance to heal and find hope in their lives. Donations to this area of Epworth may go towards:

Equipment, supplies and resources for staff members and families. Car seats, toys, cribs or other items used by Foster families and/or needed by IHSS families.
