Dan Prososki, Education Director
Dan Prososki, MA, has taken over the administrative reigns of Epworth Village Learning Center (EVLC).
The new Director of Education hails from Columbus and currently commutes to York.
Prososki earned his undergraduate degree in education from Wayne State College and his Master’s Degree in K-12 Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Most recently Prososki was employed by Catholic Charities of Columbus as a Treatment Specialist where he worked with clients one on one; experience that will serve him well in his new position.
Prososki says working at Epworth Village will draw on previous experience with clients like those served by EVLC, saying; he finds working with these kids fun. In his new position Prososki would like to keep kids who need help from being “swept under the rug.”
“I want kids to be prepared with basic skills and have a foundation they can build on,” Prososki states.
On the administrative side, the new Director of Education would like to have a positive impact on education while helping teachers out; especially new teachers just beginning their careers.
Prososki, who reported for duty April 16; worked alongside former Director of Education Scott Wiles until his departure May 20. Wiles, who accepted a post as a full-time pastor at Calvary Community Church in Lincoln, served in the position for three years.
Please join in welcoming Prososki to Epworth Village and the community of York.
