Pam Phillippe, Vice President - Finance

Pam PhillipePam Phillippe grew up on a farm outside of Gresham, NE until the age of 16 when her family moved to Osceola and eventually to York. Pam attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business. Pam started her career as a Certified Public Accountant for a firm in Lincoln where she had worked during her final year of college. Having lived in Colorado and North Carolina she found her way back to Nebraska in 1987. During those intervening years she worked in various corporate accounting positions. Pam began her career at Epworth Village in 1988 as Business Manager with the title eventually changing to Vice President - Finance.

Pam is a Certified Public Accountant. She was a member of the first Leadership York class and has served on the committee of Leadership York since that time. She is also a member of York Rotary and serves on the Board of Directors of the York Chamber of Commerce.

Pam resides in Stromsburg, NE where she is heavily involved in her church activities. She has one son, Christopher, who is married to his beautiful wife Lydia, the couple lives in Lincoln.  Pam has had the opportunity to travel three times to Hong Kong to participate with the Youth With a Mission organization in sharing the gospel at Christmas time in Hong Kong.

“I have been blessed to work in an organization where I had the flexibility to take time off for child activities and to take the amount of time needed for the mission trips to Hong Kong. My son has basically grown up during my years here and he feels as though Epworth Village is a part of his family also. In my spare time I like to read and I just love having supper and coffee with friends.”
