Kerry Hoffschneider, Donor/Public Relations Director

Kerry Hoffschneider attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where she obtained a Bachelors degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. During college, Kerry worked for Nebraska Educational Television and Nebraska Public Radio. Her first career move was to the York News-Times where she served as the Agricultural Editor and Regional Reporter. “This was a wonderful opportunity to connect with all sorts of people, industries and organizations in the York area and across the state,” Kerry said. “During this time period, I was also selected as a participant in the Nebraska LEAD Program. The program is meant to develop leaders in rural Nebraska. As a part of this two-year experience we attended both national and international study tours. The Central American countries of Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua were our research destinations.”
Kerry, her husband Ryan and son Luke live on a farm outside of Waco where they operate a feedlot and crop production business with their family. Ryan and Kerry are members of St. John's Missouri Synod Lutheran church in rural Waco.
Outside of her employment at Epworth Village, Inc., Kerry serves as the Editor of the Nebraska LEAD Alumni Association newsletter and continues writing a weekly editorial "SEEDS." She is also a member of the International Association of Business Communicators. Kerry serves on the IABC-Lincoln Chapter board in the area of Professional Development.
“My passions are the future of our rural communities and the youth who will build them. That is why I have been so pleased to join the team at Epworth Village, Inc., a truly devoted group of individuals providing quality, family-centered treatment to the next generation.”
