Dennis Dooley, Maintenance Director
Dennis Dooley was born in Torrington, Wyoming. His formative years were spent in the small town of Whitney located in western Nebraska. Dooley moved to Ashton, Nebraska during his senior year.
After graduating from high school, Dooley joined the United States Navy where he spent four years (1967 to 1971) in the aviation fuels area, working on aircraft carriers. Dooley spent time on the USS Hornet, the aircraft carrier that picked up astronauts from Apollo 11 and 12. After serving his nation, Dooley studied Building Technology at Hastings Central Tech for two years. During this time period, he also met and married his wife Granada. Together, the couple has three children and two grandsons.
Dooley’s career included working for four different construction companies where he said, “I was exposed to many different aspects of building and maintenance issues.”
He joined the Epworth Village, Inc. staff in 1980. Since that time Dooley said, “It has been a pleasure to be part of the growth of the agency. I enjoy the challenge of meeting the needs of clients and staff.”
