In 2007, Andy Marquart joined the Epworth Village staff as a therapist in the family-centered residential/day treatment program located in York and Grand Island. Recently Marquart was named the In-Home Safety Services Director, a new program at Epworth serving families in York, Fillmore, Thayer, Jefferson, Saline, Gage, Seward and Polk counties.
Marquart is originally from the Byron, Neb. area. After graduating from Chester Hubbel Byron High School, he attended Doane College in Lincoln where he achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a Master of Arts in Counseling. Prior to Epworth Village, Marquart worked with Visinet, Inc. as an IFP therapist, out-patient therapist and crisis response therapist.
“The In-Home Safety Services program is a great addition to Epworth’s continuum of care. We are now able to put teams of caring people around families within their home settings and help change lives there as well.”
